With the Aletsch Explorer Pass you can enjoy unlimited use of the cable cars at the Aletsch Arena ski resort for a full day. We recommend that you start using it in the morning so that you can enjoy all the attractions for as long as possible.
The Aletsch Arena cable cars connect all the peaks of the ski resort and its hiking trails.
Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn Train
In addition, the Aletsch Explorer Pass includes a ticket for the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn), which connects the stations of Brig and Fürgangen. With it, you can access iconic Aletsch villages such as Riederalp or Bettmeralp, walk from Moosfluh to Riederfurka and finish at Villa Cassel, a 19th-century castle high up on the mountain.
How does it work?
To start using the Aletsch Explorer Pass you must collect your passes by showing your booking voucher at any of the Aletsch Bahnen AG ticket offices:
- Mörel to Riederalp (viewpoints Moosfluh and Hohfluh): Furkastrasse 29, 3983 Mörel-Filet.
- Betten Talstation towards Bettmeralp (Bettmerhorn viewpoint): Guldersand, 3993 Grengiols.
- Fiesch to Fiescheralp (Eggishorn viewpoint): Fieschertalstrasse 1, 3984 Fiesch. Please keep in mind that this viewpoint will be closed from September 2024 until December 2025.
The opening times of the stations may vary depending on the season, and not all the viewpoints are open year-round. Before your visit, we recommend checking both things in advance via this link.
